Landscape Photography Holiday
This relaxing photography holiday takes a step back from the technical side of photography and instead focuses on the artistic and creative aspects of Landscape Photography. The emphasis is totally on composition, planning and using natural light to take great landscape photography, as well as visiting countless spectacular locations to explore. With the more point and shoot aspect of this holiday, absolutely any camera or phone is perfect. As with all our activities, we’ll take the backroads and small tracks whenever possible and get to see many features of the Dingle Peninsula, hidden well away from the main roads.

Programme
Arrive for check in and meet at An Portan in Dunquin for Tea and Coffee at 4.00 p.m.
4.30 p.m. A visit to the beach and rocky shoreline in Dunquin provides the first opportunity to relax and work with the landscape.
6.30 p.m. Break
7.00 p.m. Tour with visits to a number of different locations on the Slea Head Drive until sunset and dusk.
Dawn & Sunrise: We visit a location for sunrise and take advantage of the early morning light and atmosphere to the west of Dingle.
8.30 a.m. Back to An Portan for breakfast.
9.30 – 1.30 p.m. Tour a series of locations to the east of Dingle including Kinard Strand, Minard Castle, Inch and Anascaul
1.30 p.m. Break for lunch & rest– local options include Louis Mulcahy’s pottery café, Ballyferriter Village or Dingle.
7.00 p.m. We’ll explore a section of amazing rocky coastline during the early evening before picking our own spot for sunset and dusk.
We’ll visit another location for the dawn & sunrise, continuing on to even more spots to catch the early morning light.
8.30 a.m. Back to An Portan for breakfast,
9.30 – 1.30 p.m. We’ll take a tour over The Conor Pass, stopping at the viewing park and the waterfall before exploring some other locations on the northern side of The Dingle Peninsula
1.30 p.m. Break for lunch & rest– local options include Louis Mulcahy’s pottery café, Ballyferriter Village or Dingle.
7.00 p.m. Evening tour and yet another opportunity for some sunset and dusk photography
Our final dawn, sunrise and early morning tour.
8.30 a.m. Back to An Portan for breakfast.
10.30 a.m. – 1.30 p.m. We’ll spend the morning looking through the images we’ve captured during the weekend and examine the things we can do “on location” or in post processing to improve them.
