The Path to Dunquin Pier

Dunquin is the most westerly parish in Ireland, located at the edge of the Dingle Peninsula and the North Atlantic Ocean in County Kerry. Dunquin Pier is visited by following the steep pathway that twists and turns down the cliff to the sheltered inlet below. As well as being a great viewing point for the very edge of West Kerry and the Blasket Islands, Dunquin Pier is also the major departure point for day trips that cross the Blasket Sound to deliver you to the Great Blasket Island. This was taken just before sunset from the top of the path that winds down to the pier below, during September 2018.
